The Agency

Donius Insurance Group is an independent Erie Insurance agency, and has been serving the greater DC, Baltimore and Annapolis areas for more than 50 years. The Agency is owned and operated by Gary L. Donius, Emily B. Sachek, CIC and Christian A. Sachek, CPCU.

Unique Experience

What makes Donius Insurance a truly unique insurance agency is the Agency owners. Each has worked for Erie Insurance Group as loss adjusters in previous careers. Gary Donius was a multi-line loss adjuster before being promoted to a District Manager position and purchasing the Agency in 1981. Emily was a multi-line loss adjuster before opening E.B. Sachek Insurance Services in 2006. Christian was a Commercial Liability Specialist prior to being promoted to a District Manager position.
